Surfing through the internet has been a part of my daily activity eversince I bought my first desk top computer back in 1996. Other than to find information and to shop over Ebay and Amazon, one of the things I pervently do is to search for relevant news stories about Subic Bay, my birthplace using Google and Yahoo search engines. For many who have left Subic Bay and now living oversea in search for greener pasture, we could not help but to look back to the place we call a piece of heaven on earth and any news brings us closer to where our hearts are.

Subic Bay News is born out of a need to make news searches easier for people who have considered Subic Bay their hometown. By compiling current news updates circulating around the cyberspace and posting them over Subic Bay News portal, searches become less complicated and quicker.

But other than news update, Subic Bay News wants to integrate useful internet functions and ideas for everyone else to enjoy and to benefit. We intend to use the internet technology to bring bigger and bolder things and to provide services beyond what our name denotes.
