Gordon’s ticket won all but one of the contested seats in the city government, with Gordon garnering 44,758 votes against 28,215 of former vice-mayor Rolen Paulino.
The Olongapo vice-mayorship went back to Cynthia Cajudo, who won as councilor in the 2004 elections. Cajudo received 37,638 votes against the 32,082 of former councilor Noel Atienza.
Except for Dr. Lugie Lipumano, who got 36,524 votes, all the winning councilors came from the Gordon ticket.
They are: Gina Perez, with 40,665 votes; JC delos Reyes, 40,257; Rodel Cerezo, 39,958; Bibet Marzan, 36,759; Ed Piano, 36,255; Gie Baloy, 35,124; Jong Cortez, 34,638; Elmo Aquino, 34,387; and Ellen Dabu, 32,523.
