PETRO ANICA. With its bow well above water and stern disproportionately heavy and low, the Oil tanker Petro Anica arrived in Subic Bay this morning, here shown being assisted by a Tug Boat towards the pier of the Philippine Coastal Storage & Pipeline Corp. (PCSP), attracting attention from residents, employees and visitors in the Subic Bay Freeport.
Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Seaport authorities said despite the menacing appearance, the ship was not in danger, nor posed any danger to the bay. The Philippine-registered Petro Anica, with gross tonnage of 5052 tons, left Batangas Bay yesterday and arrived in Subic Bay this morning. SubicBayNews photo by Vic V. Vizcocho, Jr.
