Olongapo Mayor Rolen Jr., Other City Officials Take Oath

INCUMBENT Olongapo City Mayor Rolen “Lenj” Paulino, Jr. on Friday has taken his oath to serve a second term in simple ceremonies at the historical Rizal Triangle Covered Court.
The ten councilors who won in the last election led by topnotcher Tata Paulino, Lugie Lipumano, Kaye Legaspi, Rodel Cerezo, Jamiel Escalona, Jerome Bacay, VicVic Magsaysay and Gina Perez were also sworn into office by Regional Trial Court Branch 72 Presiding Judge Richard A. Paradeza.
Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman & Administrator Rolen C. Paulino, Sr. and SBMA Director Cynthia C. Paulino, Mayor Lenj’s parents, graced the oath-taking ceremonies along with other family members.
With the elder Paulino and spouse both at the helm of SBMA, Mayor Lenj is optimistic that the city could maximize benefits from the Freeport for the people of Olongapo. (Vic V. Vizcocho, Jr.)
