Kalalake National High School Produces Ten NC – I Passers

Ten graduating Senior High School students from Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) under the Technical -Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) track of Kalalake National High School successfully passed the competency assessment given by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in SMAW National Competency Level I.
Despite numerous challenges brought about by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Kalalake Senior High School pursued the in-person skills training in welding to equip the SMAW learners with necessary skills, knowledge and attitude required by the industry by which modular learning delivery alone could not provide.
The training program adhered strictly to the existing safety and health protocol enforced by the Local Government Unit Inter-Agency Task Force (LGU – IATF). The K to 12 education system under the Department of Education (DepEd), intends to produce more competent citizens and prepare graduates for higher education, employment, and entrepreneurship.
At present, the Kalalake National High School welcomes learners who choose to pursue courses in Information Communication Technology (ICT), Home Economics Combo-I and Shielded Metal Arc Welding NC-I and NC-II, Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) and General Academic Strand (GAS).
