Tarlac Agricultural University hosts 2023 NSCUAA Games

TARLAC CITY –currently hosts the 2023 National State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association (NSCUAA) Games.
It is in partnership with the provincial government of Tarlac and New Clark City (NCC).
During the opening held at NCC Athletics Stadium, TAU President Max Guillermo welcomed the delegation coming from various regions.
“I am honored and delighted to welcome you all to the National State Colleges and Universities Athletic Association Games 2023,” Guillermo said.
About 2,700 athletes; 600 coaches; and 900 officials and support staff from the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) participated in the sports events.
Guillermo emphasized that the event is more than just a sports competition as it embodies the spirit of unity, camaraderie, and excellence.
Meanwhile, Governor Susan Yap expressed her support in the undertaking for the athletes to see the world-class facilities of the country as well as visit the tourist spots in the province.
“While you are here, we also encourage you to explore the various tourism destinations in our province such as the Japanese Tunnels and World War 2 Museum in the nearby municipality of Bamban,” she said.
Other venues for the games include Tarlac Recreational Park; Tarlac State University; Pook Likasan in Tibag, Tarlac City; TAU; Sta. Ignacia Auditorium; Barangay Malacampa Covered Court in Camiling; and Camiling Sports Complex. (PIA 3)
