NAVAL AIR STATION PENSACOLA, Fla. Sailors assigned to Naval Aviation Rescue Swimmer School participate in an over-water hoist demonstration at Naval Air Station Pensacola, March 20, 2024. The demonstration was to help educate Aviation Rescue Swimmer School and Aviation Enlisted Aircrew students on capabilities upon entering the fleet. FLEET ACTIVITIES YOKOSUKA, Japan. Capt. Daryle Cardone, commanding officer of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76), returns a salute to Japanese community members visiting Ronald Reagan during the 28th annual Spring Festival celebration at Fleet Activities Yokosuka. Scheduled during Japan’s cherry blossom season, the 28th annual Spring Festival open base event was held by CFAY to give community members and guests the opportunity to enjoy together, highlighting the friendship between the U.S. Navy and the City of Yokosuka. For more than 75 years, CFAY has provided, maintained, and operated base facilities and services in support of the U.S. 7th Fleet’s forward-deployed naval forces, tenant commands, and thousands of military and civilian personnel and their families.
