KALALAKE NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL Celebrates Excellence in Education Through Gawad PRAISE Ceremony

On August 30, 2024, Kalalake National High School’s Covered Court was abuzz with excitement as the school community gathered to honor and recognize the outstanding achievements of its dedicated teachers through the Gawad PRAISE (Program on Awards and Incentives for Service Excellence) DO 9, s.2002. The objective of this prestigious event was to encourage, recognize, and reward employees for their exceptional contributions to the school and public service. Imee S. Genelsa, a passionate Junior High School Teacher III, stood out among 90 school personnel as the Outstanding Teacher for the month of August. In addition, four other exceptional teachers were also recognized for their remarkable contributions: John Bryan R. Balolong received the Karunungan Award, Enrico J. Borras was honored with the Kasipagan Award, Ma. Clarissa Ugalde received the Malikhain Award, and Merlyn Seridon was awarded the Matulungin Award. The School-based Gawad Award, now in its second year of implementation, has become a cornerstone of Kalalake National High School’s commitment to fostering excellence in education under the leadership of Dr. Soledad E. Pozon, school principal IV, and OIC Assistant School Principal Dr. Lovella M. Jarobel. This monthly celebration serves as a testament to the school’s dedication to recognizing and nurturing talent, innovation, and exemplary service among its educators. As Imee S. Genelsa and her fellow awardees accepted their well-deserved accolades with pride and gratitude, the entire school community celebrated their achievements and commitment to educational excellence.
