4 Drug suspects killed in a P3.4B Shabu Buy Bust Operation in Zambales
Camp Capt. Conrado D Yap, Iba, Zambales – Fully-armed drug suspects were neutralized by authorities during the buy-bust operation turned armed encounter in Candelaria, Zambales on Tuesday, September 7, 2021.
At about 12:00 o’clock in the afternoon, this date joint operatives of PNP and PDEA conducted buy-bust operation at Noah’s Place, Brgy. Libertador, Candelaria, Zambales against four (4) suspects, with the following certain names: (1) Gao Manzhu, 49 years old from Fujian, China; (2) Hong Jianshe, 58 Years old from Fujian, China; (3) Eddie Tan, 60 years old from Fujian, China; and, (4) Youhua Xu, 50 years old from Standford Ville, Quezon City.
During the operation, the suspects fired gun shots towards the operatives. A firefight ensued between the operatives and the suspects which resulted to the instantaneous death of the above-named suspects. Operating troops were able to recover the following pieces of evidence: 25 pieces of blue sacks containing 20 pieces of aluminum packs per sack, containing shabu with estimated weight of 500 kilograms, with a standard price Php 3,400,000,000.00 (3.4 billion pesos); 6 pieces of Php 1,000 buy-bust money on top of the boodle money, 4 pcs. of firearms of different calibers, 1 Black Nissan Van with Plate No. NCU 8580, and 1 Black Toyota Fortuner with Plate No. WIE 956.
Moreover, surveillance reports revealed that the above-named suspects were distributors of illegal drugs in Luzon particularly, NCR, Region 3 and Region 4.
Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief, PGEN GUILLERMO LORENZO T. ELEAZAR arrived at the crime scene, and stated in an interview that this accomplishment is the result of PDEA-PNP Unified Operational Guidelines to strengthen the relationship of PDEA and PNP in coordination with other Law Enforcement Agencies in the fight against the proliferation of illegal drugs in the country.
