SM Holds First Color Fun Run in Olongapo
COLOR FUN RUN. Nearly 1,000 participants joined SM Olongapo’s Color Fun Run in celebration of the 49th Cityhood of Olongapo. The event aimed to promote healthy lifestyle and enjoyment by bringing the community together to participate in the “Fun Run.” After color runners completed the race, the fun continues with a very memorable dance party equipped with music, dancing and enormous color throws, making it one of the best post fun run party.(PR-SMOL)
SM Olongapo launched successfully its first ever Color Fun Run with nearly 1,000 participants. The Color Fun Run was organized in celebration of the 49th Cityhood of Olongapo and as a kick off for the city’s 50th next year.
The event aimed to promote healthy lifestyle and enjoyment by bringing the community together to participate in the “Fun Run”. The five-kilometer, un-timed Color Fun Run is a race in which participants are doused from head to toe in different colors. Participants wore white t-shirt.
The fun went on after color runners completed the race with a very memorable dance party, equipped with music, dancing and enormous color throws, making it the best post fun run party.
Color runners varied in statistics and reasons for running. With no winners or official time, the Color Fun Run caters to everyone, first time runners, some runners participated as a celebration of their healthy lifestyle, while others participated for reasons distinct to them. (PR-SMOL)
