Negosyo Center in Olongapo City
OLONGAPO CITY — Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) opened on Friday its second Negosyo Center in Central Luzon at Columban College.
“The establishment of Negosyo Centers is pursuant to the provision of Republic Act 10644 otherwise known as Go Negosyo Act of 2014. It seeks to serve as a one-stop shop in the processing of business documents including requirements of DTI, Social Security System, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and Bureau of Internal Revenue,” DTI Regional Director Judith Angeles said.
It shall also strengthen Access to Finance, as it would assist micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in applying for loans in government financial institutions such as Land Bank of the Philippines and Development Bank of the Philippines as well as cooperatives.
“DTI continues to assist MSMEs through the support of the local government units, MSMED council and private partners such as the Columban College. By establishing centers that provide ease of doing business, business development and support services, entrepreneurs are able to seek assistance more easily,” Angeles stressed.
A total of 11 centers shall be established in strategic areas in the region. (PIA 3)
