SEZ, SBMA inks Adopt-an-Ambulance MOA

Subic EnerZone Corporation (SEZ), in cooperation with the Aboitiz Foundation, and the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) renewed its Adopt-an-Ambulance program with a MOA signing on April 11, 2016 at the SBMA Boardroom in Bldg. 229, Subic Bay Freeport Zone.
Representing SEZ in the signing were AVP & General Manager Warell Kern Sario Human Resource Manager Mars Escobar. SBMA was represented by its Chairman and Administrator Roberto Garcia, and Public Health and Safety Department Manager Dr. Solomon Jacalne with Public Health and Safety Dept. Medical Division Chief Dr. Arcely F. Layson.
Adopt-an-Ambulance is a program by SEZ and the Aboitiz Foundation with the SBMA that started in 2007. It allocates P125, 000 yearly for maintenance works of 7 ambulances of the SBMA’s Emergency Medical Services (EMS). This year, the budget allocation is P149,000 which includes Ambulance mechanic’s training.
SBMA-EMS is part of the agency’s primary rescue group composed of personnel from Fire, Law Enforcement, and Public Health and Safety departments.
The MOA is effective from January 2016 to December of 2016. (Jeff Figuerrez )
