SM Employee Volunteerism Program (EVP)

SM Olongapo, SM Pampanga, SM City Clark and SM San Fernando Downtown are showing their support in this year’s Brigada Eskwela through its Adopt-A-School project, under Employee Volunteerism Program(EVP). The EVP aims to help the community by creating a clean environment, conducive to learning for public schools, day-care centers and other similar structures.

“Thank you very much to SM for their Brigada Eskwela intervention which is employee volunteerism. With the repainting of e-classroom and rehabilitation, the pupils will be able to learn more because the classroom is now conducive for learning,” Aurora Luna, East Bajac Bajac Elementary School Olongapo principal said.

SM Pampanga did the same for Masamat Elementary School, Mexico Pampanga where they did repainting works for the school’s Computer Laboratory and rehabilitation of School Library.

SM Clark conducted their Adopt-A-School in Sto. Domingo Integrated School in Angeles City.

SM Supermalls, through SM Cares, is a catalyst towards a positive change in the different communities where it operates. With its vast reach and resources, SM Supermalls undeniably is in the best position in improving the community.

Through its Employee Volunteerism Program (EVP), additional resources will be available to its host communities in the performance of community services.(PR-SMOL)

SM Olongapo receives a Certificate of Appreciation from DepED through Ms. Aurora Luna, East Bajac Bajac Elementary School Principal for the support to the improvement of the school in its physical aspect.
SM Olongapo volunteers headed by Ana Azucena, asst. mall manager and HR Manager Dang Lo help in the repainting of e-classroom walls and doors of Brgy. East Bajac Bajac Elementary School in support to the Adopt-a-school program and in time for the opening of classes next week. The Adopt-a- school is under the Employee Volunteerism Program of SM to help deliver quality education by helping communities create clean, safe and disaster-ready schools for the students.
