NCBRD, an annual event every 3rd Tuesday of July, is part of SM CARES program for Children that promotes literacy and encourage children to develop love for reading at an early age.

“SM City Olongapo, SM City Pampanga, SM City Clark and SM San Fernando Downtown have invited story tellers to read featured books from Vibal Publishing. SM Supermalls has long been committed in becoming a venue for learning, a medium for imparting knowledge, especially to our young customers. We are grateful that we are able to share this advocacy with our partners from the Department of Education, National Book Store, Vibal Publications and UNICEF,” SM said in a statement.
