Sinosun’s CSR Through Young Hearts With Hope Foundation

Sinosun Subic Bay Holdings Corporation (Sinosun) held a charitable Back to School event for underprivileged children in Olongapo City.

With Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino, Sinosun donated school bags and school supplies as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) thru the Young Hearts With Hope (YHWH) Foundation to help children go back to school

Held at McDonald’s Rizal Avenue, the children arrived with Jesus the Heart of Worship church Pastor Bong Guinto onboard the Olongapo City Bus provided by Mayor Paulino, who expressed appreciation of Sinosun’s CSR contributions to the community.

Dr. Samuel Lim, Chairman of Sinosun said, “Our program was piloted last year to benefit students from families with low income to help keep them in school.” He added that YHWH would be looking forward to working with other welfare institutions to assist more school children in its efforts to give back to the society.

The children reciprocated by serenading the crowd with the song “Mahal Na Mahal Kita Paginoon”, while Pastor Guinto, expressed his appreciation on behalf of the children and their parents for Sinosun’s continuous contributions.

Also present at the charity event was Richard Johnson of Alpha Builders, a locator in Subic Bay and Joyce Clear, a renowned interior designer for super yachts from New York.

Officers of YHWH Foundation in collaboration with Mundo Financial Technology Group (MFTG), Citicom International and SVO International successfully concluded the charity event and expressed its gratitude to all those who have lent a hand with tokens of appreciation, closing the event with many smiling faces.
