PHILIPPINE SEA. U.S. Marines with Battalion Landing Team 2/5, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and Philippine Marines return to the amphibious transport dock USS New Orleans (LPD 18) during KAMANDAG 6, in the Philippine Sea, Oct. 3, 2022. The two forces participated in a bilateral amphibious assault focused on increasing interoperability and shared understanding of tactics. ARABIAN GULF. Saildrone Explorer unmanned surface vessels (USV) operate with the guided-missile cruiser USS Delbert D. Black (DDG 119), the Royal Navy Sandown-class minehunter HMS Bangor (M109), HMS Chiddingfold (M37) and the U.S. Coast Guard Sentinel-class cutter USCGC Robert Goldman (WPC 1142) in the Arabian Gulf during exercise Phantom Scope.
