PhilHealth’s “Moves” goes full steam in CL before the year ends
Philippine Health Insurance Corp (PhilHealth) will go full blast in the implementation of Mobile Orientation, Validation and Enrollment Services (Moves) in Central Luzon this November.
Department of Health Central Luzon chief Leonita Gorgolon explained, “Moves is an integrated marketing approach which specifically targets beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (Pantawid Pamilya) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).”
It will be used by PhilHealth to elicit support from its indigent members and guide them on the procedures of availing benefits at the local level through various information, education and communication activities.
“PhilHealth Moves supports the Aquino administration’s vision of making health services accessible to all Filipinos through financial protection from their hospitalization needs,” Gorgolon said.
Prior to the full implementation, a series of soft launches were held in the towns of Porac in Pampanga, Gerona in Tarlac, and San Antonio in Zambales and the city of Balanga last October.(CLJD/JGB-PIA 3)
