Vina Seeks Re-Election as Brgy. East Tapinac Kagawad

 

East Tapinac barangay Kgd. Vina Vizcocho, associate editor of Subic Bay News, is seeking re-election for a second term.

During her first term, Vina successfully established East Tapinac’s Barangay Human Rights Action Center and vigorously conducted massive information dissemination drives on Violence Against Women & Their Children, Human Rights Awareness, Anti-Bullying and seminars geared to fight, prevent and stop “sextortion.”

Vina also raised funds for the Day Care Center via a “Bingo Bonanza” and conducted Livelihood Trainings as a means of women Empowerment.

Aside from being chair of the committee on Human Rights, Vina also chaired Livelihood, Ways & Means and Appropriations committees, where she made sure that the barangay funds are used to the best interests of the barangay and its residents.

Vina earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree after completing BS Accountancy and is currently on her 2nd year at Law School to enhance her capabilities in providing assistance to her constituents.

Barangay elections will be on Oct. 28, 2013 all over the country.
