ChriSMiles Treats for Kids

Everyday can be an opportunity to bless others in small ways.

SM’s ChriSMiles is an annual “Share Your Blessings” activity of employees that helps extend the joy of Christmas and touch the lives of those in need.

This year, SM City Olongapo, Pampanga, Clark and San Fernando Downtown employees voluntarily spent time with the less fortunate kids to give fun and memorable experience .

SM City Olongapo volunteers welcomed the Aeta children of Pastolan and Bamban Tribes in the mall where they received gift packs and enjoyed the parlor games and dance number prepared for them by volunteer employees.

In return, these kids also showed their talent in dancing through a tribal and modern dance number. To culminate the activity they had the chance to watch a movie entitled ‘The Little Prince’.

“We’re happy to see these kids enjoy the program, memorable eto sa kanila, thank you to SM volunteers, sana wag kayong magsawang magbigay saya sa ating mga katutubong Aeta, remarked Vangie Rodriquez, IP Coordinator Olongapo.

Meanwhile, SM City Clark and SM San Fernando Downtown treated the children of the mall’s janitorial and security agency personnel to different rides such as train ride, carousel and ferris wheel. During the program, employee volunteers rendered a song number for the kids, and they also prepared fun games plus the gift giving as the highlight of the program. (PR-SMOL)
