Motorcyclists using helmets without the sticker after Dec. 31, 2012 will be apprehended…

Leonila T. Baluyot, head of DTI Zambales/Olongapo, shows a sample sticker which certifies that a motorcycle helmet meets safety standards, in compliance to the Motorcycle Helmet Law.

Motorcyclists using helmets without the sticker after Dec. 31, 2012 will be apprehended and penalized. The stickers may be obtained for free from DTI offices until the end of the year.

In a “Kapihan” hosted by DTI recently, Baluyut also warned against sub-standard christmas lights that pose danger to lives and properties, especially with the proximity of the Christmas Season. SBN/VVVphoto
