Kalalake National High School Achieves 100% Passing Rate

Nine students of Kalalake National High School (Senior High School) from Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) under the Technical -Vocational Livelihood (TVL) tract passed the National Competency assessment conducted by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) NC-l and NC-II simultaneously last July 18,2024 at the Bataan Peninsula State University-Dinalupihan Campus.
Despite numerous challenges brought about by climate change and shortened school hours, alternative training methods were pursued to ensure the continuing skills training of the SMAW learners.
The SMAW NC- and NC-II certification play a great role in the welding industry to provide the K-12 graduates with essential skills and knowledge and attitude required by the companies on both local and international scope.
This National Certification program is funded through School Educational Fund (SEF) as a brainchild of the Schools Division of Olongapo OIC Assistant Superintendent Dr. Imelda P. Macaspac
Dr. Soledad E. Pozon, Principal IV, also played instrumental role in fostering a supportive learning environment for the students that paved the way for the students to excel in their training and achieve a remarkable a hundred percent passing rate in SMAW NC-I and NC-II.
