Mayor Lauds Security Guard, Sales Demo for Returning Lost Valuables
The first batch of SM “Honesto” awardees for 2015 has been recognized during the flag raising ceremony of the city government last Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Rizal Triangle Covered Court.
The city’s “Honesto” campaign started in the administration of Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino which recognizes honest Olongapeños who return lost valuable items and money.
SM Lady Guard Girlie Basina from RED EYE II agency found a Laptop and Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 at the 4th floor near Alfresco area with approximate value of P40,000.00 and P22,000.00, respectively. Another ‘Honesto’ awardee Renalyn Forte, a sales demo of JAGTHUG BTW of The SM Store found a wallet inside the fitting room with an amount of P14,517.25.
They both received certificates of commendation from Mayor Paulino for showing honesty in returning the valuable items and money of the customers. “Maraming salamat po kay Mayor Paulino sa pagbigay ng Pagkilala sa amin,” said Basina.
Mayor Paulino reitersted that “Honesty is at the top of the list when you want to keep your job”. “Nawa’y ipagpatuloy natin ang pagiging matapat sa ating sarili at sa trabaho,” he added.
It can be recalled that previous accolades were given to SM Olongapo security personnel for showing the same gesture to customers. SM Olongapo is also known for raising an energetic and inspiring elevator girl who became famous for her excellent customer service. (PR-SMOL)
