2nd Subic Bay Int’l Film Festival Trailer (by Vic Lenin G. Vizcocho IV)

IT IS “ALL SYSTEMS GO” for the 2nd Subic Bay International Film Festival (SBIFF) which will be held on June 21 to 23, 2019 at the Harbor Point Ayala Mall Cinema here in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone.

With six (6) films competing for various awards, the film fest is expected to draw crowds bigger than last year’s successful launch.

Also expected to be a hit this year is the appearance of the Philippines’ only Superstar Nora Aunor who will be receiving a life-time achievement award along with veteran cinematographer Romy Vitug.

Last year, veteran actor Eddie Garcia was SBIFF’s life-time achievement awardee, along with veteran director Elwood Perez. Best Actor was RS Francisco, Best actress was Tessie Tomas and Best Picture was RS Francisco’s Boy Intsik.

Admission is free for the three-day film festival, including the Awards Night on June 23, also at Harbor Point Mall. ###
