SBMA OIC Administrator Escolango Graces Korean Sports & Music Festival

Working through the weekend, Lawyer Randy B. Escolango, officer-in-charge (OIC) Administrator of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) has endeared himself to the large Korean community in the Subic Freeport and Zambales when he graced the Korean Sports & Music Festival at Greenwoods Park in the Freeport on Saturday night.

“The SBMA leadership recognises the Korean community’s valuable role in the Subic Freeport,” Escolango said in his message before hundreds of Korean men, women and children gathered for the event, noting that Korean businesses are undoubtedly a big revenue earner for the Freeport. “In fact, the biggest investor in the Freeport is the Korean company Hanjin, and we are thankful for that” the OIC Administrator added.

Bong Hee Bae, president of Subic – Zambales Korean Community Association of the Philippines thanked OIC Administrator Escolango for sparing time from his “family time” to attend the Korean Sports & Music Festival.

He said the Korean Community shall continue to support the SBMA leadership in its efforts to promote business and further improve relations among stakeholders, including employers and employees.
