Zambales Governor Amor D. Deloso visits Keppel Subic Shipyard

GOVERNOR’S YARD VISIT. Barely five (5) days into his new term as governor of Zambales, Gov. Amor D. Deloso made a visit to Keppel Subic Shipyard, a major shipbuilding, repair, conversion and offshore engineering firm in Subic town. Deloso was welcomed by Keppel Philippines Marine, Inc. (KPMI) President Leong Kok Weng, KPMI Executive Vice President Stefan Tong, KPMI Senior Vice President for Finance and Admin Agnes Barbara L. Lorenzo, Keppel Subic Shipyard, Inc. (KSSI) President Ezra Chiam, KSSI General Manager Spencer Leong, KSSI QA/HSE Department Senior Manager Augusto P. Valencia, KSSI Works Department Senior Manager Fernando De Jesus and KSSI Administrative Department Manager Lex Byron R. Magrata. After a briefing on the operations and projects of the shipyard, as well as the status of the market of marine and offshore industry, the governor joined Keppel officials in a tour of the yard which included (left & middle photos) climbing the shipyard’s 1500-ton Gantry Crane, the biggest in Southeast Asia.
