SM Olongapo Malls, BFP Host 3rd Nationwide Simultaneous Fire Drill

Aligned with Fire Prevention Month, the 3rd Nationwide Simultaneous Fire Drill was conducted across all SM Supermalls in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP). This significant initiative was a key component of the month’s activities, designed to bolster community awareness and understanding of vital fire safety practices, aligning with the BFP’s theme for the year, “Sa Pag-Iwas sa Sunog, Hindi ka Nag-iisa.”
In Olongapo, the initiative took place at SM City Olongapo Central and SM City Olongapo Downtown, featuring educational and interactive activities tailored for affiliates, agencies, tenants and mall employees. The event included live fire extinguisher demonstrations led by BFP experts, and emergency evacuation drills, equipping attendees with essential skills and knowledge for fire emergency situations.
This successful event also highlighted the strong collaboration between SM Supermalls and BFP, showcasing a united effort towards safety and preparedness.
