Civil Service Exams in October
The Civil Service Commission in cooperation with Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino and the Personnel Office of the city recently conducted the first part of a three series site application for those who would like to take the CSC Professional/Sub-Professional exam which will be held on October 13, 2013 at the Olongapo City National High School(OCNHS).
More than 300 applications were received and processed last week by CSC representatives together with the personnel office at the FMA hall inside Olongapo City Hall.
Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino said that the recent on site application for the CSC exam only shows that Olongapeno’s are now open to the idea of working in the government sector.
Angie Barroga, head of the City Personnel Office said that “It has been a while since the city hosted an on site application and CSC exam, if I can remember it right it was in 1995 when we last conducted this activity.” “We welcome this development, it only shows that CSC recognize Olongapenos a heaven for aspiring public servants and leaders.” Barroga added.
The second onsite application for the CSC exam is scheduled on July 23, at the city health lobby inside Olongapo City hall, the third schedule will be announced soon according to Barroga.
CSC application and exam are usually held in San Fernando Pampanga.For interested applicants who were not able to attend the first onsite application please proceed to the City’s Personnel Office 3rd floor of City Hall complex in Olongapo or call them at (047)222-2559.
