E. BAJAC BAJAC BAGS BEST LUPONG TAGAPAMAYAPA


GAPO’S BEST LUPON-East Bajac-Bajac (EBB) Barangay Captain Filipina Tabalan, lupon members and barangay officials receive the plaque of recognition as regional winner in the 2010 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Award (LTIA)-highly urbanized cities category from DILG Regional Director Florida Dijan, DILG City Director Araceli San Jose, Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. and city councilors last march 12, 2012 at the Rizal Triangle Covered Court. EBB also received a P25,000 LTIA for winning the city’s search for Most Outstanding LupongTagapamayapa and earned the right to represent the city at the regional level of the LTIA 2011 evaluation

 

OLONGAPO-Barangay East Bajac-Bajac  (EBB) once again topped the annual city-wide search for Most Outstanding Lupong Tagapamapaya (MOLT) , winning  the P25,000 Lupong Tagapamayapa Incentive Award (LTIA) and the right to represent the city at the regional level of the competitions for the 2011 evaluation.

Mayor James “Bong” Gordon Jr. and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) City Director Araceli San Jose conferred the award to representatives of barangay EBB during the city’s flag raising ceremony at the Rizal Triangle Covered Court.

“The principal element of Katarungang Pambarangay (KP) is the lupong tagapamayapa, and its successful implementation can be attributed to the commitment and dedication of lupon members in the performance of their responsibilities,” Mayor Gordon said.

“Through the LTIAs, the significant contribution of lupon members to the delivery of efficient and speedy justice to the communities is being recognized and rewarded,” he added.

Among the panel of judges who chose the 2011 city MOLT were DILG City Director San Jose, City Prosecutor Emilie Fe Delos Santos, Municipal Trial Court Judge Merinnisa Ligaya, City Councilor Rodel Cerezo, ABC Chairman Carlito Baloy and NGO representative Josefina Soberon.
