PH Navy lady officer found dead

A lady officer of the Philippine Navy (PN) Marines was found dead inside her car in a parking lot of the Naval Station Jose Francisco, Fort Bonifacio in Taguig City,

According to the statement released by the PN, the lifeless body of ย 1Lt Shelina S. Calumay PN(M), 33 years old, of ย Batac, Ilocos Norte,ย a member of Naval Officer Candidate Course (NOCC) Class 13, was discovered withย a gunshot wound on her faceย on Wednesday morning.

Investigation ย is still on-going under close coordination between the Navy and PNP.

The PN has also formed a Board of Investigators headed by The Naval Provost Marshal (TNPM) to have a parallel investigation to complement the efforts of the PNP, in line with the Navyโ€™s support for the speedy resolution of the case.

The Philippine Navy has extended its condolences and deepest sympathy to her husband, Sgt. Jeremy Calumay, who is also a Marine and her baby and all her loved ones.
