Scheduled power interruption in parts of Zambales
The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) serves notice of the scheduled shutdown of some of its transmission facilities in these areas:
Date: 11 April 2012
Time: 8:00AM – 8:15AM and 5:45PM – 6:00PM
Affected Distribution Utility: * Zambales Electric Cooperative I (ZAMECO I) Taugtog Substation and Zambales Electric Cooperative II (ZAMECO II) Subic, Castillejos, San Antonio, San Narciso and San Felipe Substation
Reason: Load shifting of Botolan-Castillejos 69kV line load to Olongapo-Castillejos 69kV line to facilitate line maintenance along Botolan-Candelaria 69kV line
Date: 11 April 2012
Time: 8:00AM – 6:00PM
Affected Distribution Utility: * Zambales Electric Cooperative I (ZAMECO I) Iba, Salaza and Candelaria Substation
Reason: To conduct Annual Preventive Maintenance of Power Transformer and its associated equipment at Botolan Substation
Normal operations will immediately resume after work completion. NGCP’s customers and the general public are advised to take the necessary preparations and precautions for this scheduled interruption.
*Specific cities and municipalities to be affected by the power interruption are determined by the abovementioned Distribution Utility (DU), unless the activity affects the entire franchise area. The DU allots the available power within its franchise area and implements the power interruption schedule among the end-users.
