MANAHAN is 8th Member of SBMA Board

PRESIDENT Rodrigo R. Duterte has appointed Julita Singson Manahan, 92, as the 8th member of the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Board of Directors, leaving seven (7) more slots in the 15-seat body to be filled, eight (8) months since he assumed office in Malacañang.

“Pursuant to the provisions of existing laws, you are hereby appointed Member, representing the Private Sector,” Duterte said in appointing Singson Manahan, a consultant of Philippine Amusement & Gaming Corp (PAGCOR) since Nov. 2016.

Singson Manahan, also former Customs Collector of the Port of Subic now being held by her daughter Carmelita Talusan, replaced Ramon S. Sesdoyro and will serve until 01 July 2022.

To date, the other SBMA Board members are Chairman Martin B. Diño, Administrator Wilma T. Eisma as ex-officio member and vice chairman, Benny Antiporda, Stefani C. Saño, Tomas F. Lahom, Ma. Cecilia Bobadilla-Bitare and Rogelio G. Roque.
