SM GAMOT PARA SA KAPWA

SM invites shoppers to give a gift of health to less fortunate communities in “Gamot Para sa Kapwa” campaign.

A joint project of the SM Store and Watsons in partnership with the Department of Health, the Department of Social Welfare and Development, and SM Foundation, Gamot Para sa Kapwa aims to provide quality health assistance to indigent communities in the country.

This is especially meaningful and timely during the typhoon season, when quick aid is essential during emergency situations such as accidents and natural disasters.

The Sureaid Emergency Kit from Watsons ensures first aid treatment and protection of indigent communities. Each kit includes wound cleansers, bandage and dressings, basic medicines and first aid accessories.
Four teams, one vision. DOH Undersecretary Teodoro Herbosa leads the turnover of Sureaid Emergency Kits to Bago Bantay Health Center, the first beneficiaries of SM’s Gamot Para sa Kapwa project. With him are SM and Watsons executives lead by SM Retail President Jorge Mendiola, SM Store President Cielo Monasterio, Watsons GM Robert Sun, Watsons Sales Director Danilo Chiong together with SM Foundation Executive Director Connie Angeles.

Each kit contains items needed for basic first aid treatment like wound cleansers, bandage and dressings, basic medicine, and other accessories. Sureaid Emergency Kits purchased are for donation only. Cash donations are also welcome.

All donors are also entitled to a P50 coupon to be redeemed with minimum single receipt purchase of any Watsons brand worth P350 valid until September 30, 2015.
