Mobile Training Bus Plus Program in Zambales

IBA, Zambales — Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) launched on Monday its Mobile Training Bus Plus Program (MTBP) in Zambales.

“This mobile training program or what we call the park and train program seeks to bring technical-vocational skills training programs to the poorest of the poor,” said Tesda Director General Joel Villanueva.

For Zambales, it initially targets Sta. Cruz town where the Tesda bus will stay for two to three months offering free courses in electronics-electrical installation and maintenance, and computer hardware servicing.

“The bus is equipped with the necessary tools and equipment to bring the agency’s tech-voc skills training programs closer to the people targeting the poor families from far flung localities in Central Luzon,” Villanueva added. (CLJD/JGB-PIA 3
