METOC Conducts a Filed Exercise

CAMP HANSEN, OKINAWA, JAPAN. U.S. Marine Corps Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC) Analyst Forecasters with 3rd Intelligence Battalion, III MEF Information Group (MIG) participate in a Field Exercise (FEX) at Kin Blue, Okinawa, Japan, Nov. 3, 2021. The Marines conducted the exercise to test their capabilities in providing communication services in field environments. III MIG functions as the vanguard of III MEF, operating in the Indo-Pacific region’s information environment, and supports Marine Air-Ground Task Force operations with communications, intelligence, and supporting arms liaison capabilities.
