Mixed Martial Arts War X
Mixed Martial Arts Entertainment, a company that promotes Mixed martial Arts (MMA), has scheduled an event for Olongapo City and neighboring towns.
MMA is a full contact combat sport that includes boxing, wrestling, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, Muay Thai, kickboxing, taekwondo, karate, judo, kung fu and other disciplines.
The high profile of modern MMA promotions such as UFC and Pride has fostered an accelerated development of the sport.
The Mixed Martial Arts event dubbed as the MMA WARS X will be on December 1, 2012, Saturday, 6PM at Rizal Triangle Court, Olongapo City.
The tournament, already on its 10th season, will be participated in by players nationwide in different classes and weight divisions completing a 10 bouts of ultimate action. The event,proven a crowd drawe, is expected to attract around 2,000 attendees.
The MMA WARS aim to showcase Filipino talents and instill the importance of sportsmanship, character building and physical strength among participants.
Envisioned to become one of the most popular sporting events in Subic Bay, it is also hoped that new talents will be discovered to bring pride to our country.
This is a great opportunity to show support and give motivation to the community’s amateur and aspiring athletes in mixed martial arts.
