DOLE-PESO JOB FAIR SET
In observance of National Labor Day, SM City Olongapo, in partnership with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Public Employment Service Office(PESO) Olongapo, will hold its biggest Job Fair on May 1, 2014 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Jobseekers from Olongapo, Bataan and Zambales are enjoined to take advantage of the opportunity with minimal expenses, time and effort.
DOLE, PESO and SM will gather as many employers as possible, local and overseas, under one roof, to enable applicants to meet with recruiters.
Depending on the industry, management positions may be up for grabs.
SM Olongapo and its tenants and affiliates also signed up for the job fair. Government agencies such as the National Statistics Office (NSO), City Civil Registry, Philhealth, OWWA and POEA will join the job fair for pre-employment requirements of the jobseekers.
TESDA graduates and trainees, will be on hand to offer haircut and massage.
Another perk of the Job Fair is a free pre-employment orientation from experts in writing resumes, job hunting, interview, social media and professional fashion.
The job fair will feature different sections like healthcare/nursing, engineering etc. to allow job seekers to focus on their respective areas of interest.
There will be no pre-registration required.
All applicants will be pre-screened with their resume at the entrance of the mall.
Other malls in North Luzon like SM City Pampanga, SM City Clark, SM City San Fernando Downtown, SM City Baliwag and SM City Marilao will also conduct their job fairs simultaneously. (SMOL)
