TOKYO TOKYO Now Serving at the Subic Freeport

PEOPLE now have more reasons to smile as the Philippinesโ€™ #1 Japanese fast food chain, Tokyo Tokyo opened its first branch in Olongapo at the heart of the Subic Bay Freeport, โ€œThe Philippinesโ€™ No.1 Playground for Sports and ExtremeAdventureโ€.

The store is opened last September 15 in Ayala Harbor Point Subic, SBMAโ€™s premier mall.

Twenty-seven years since it first opened a branch at Quad Park in Makati City, Tokyo Tokyo has become the go-to restaurant for affordable and quality Japanese food that people have come to love.

The people of Olongapo can now enjoy Tokyo Tokyoโ€™s signature dishes they have been craving for. Signature dishes like Prawn Tempura, Pork Tonkatsu, Beef Misono, Best Chicken Teriyaki and the all-time favorites, Red Iced Tea and Rice-All-You-Can-Eat which excite even the most discerning foodies.

Two more things that the people of Subic should also try are the latest additions to Tokyo Tokyoโ€™s menu โ€“ the Sumo Meal and the Bento Meal. Appropriately named after Japanโ€™s iconic sumo wrestler, the Sumo Meal is a big meal perfect for two that includes many of Tokyo Tokyoโ€™s best sellers: Pork Tonkatsu, Prawn Tempura, Red Iced Tea and Rice-All-You-Can-Eat. The Bento Meal, on the other hand, is a complete meal in a box, the contents of which are fully customizable.

Choose among nine Japanese Bestseller meals combinedwith Miso soup, vegetables, dessert, with Red Iced Tea and Rice-All-You-Can-Eat in one meal.

โ€œWe are excited to bring our signature Japanese dishes to Subic and we look forward to serving the region with dishes that are enjoyed by millions of Filipinos,โ€ says Tokyo Tokyoโ€™s Marketing Manager Joan Optina.

โ€œThe opening of the Subic branch is something weโ€™re all very excited about not only because it will be the first Tokyo Tokyo in Olongapo, but also because it is our 50th store.โ€

To celebrate Tokyo Tokyoโ€™s grand opening, free Red Iced Tea was given during the opening day and trial coupons will be distributed all over the city in the coming weeks.
