Yanomamo, an ecological play on the issue of deforestation
On April 27, Casa Kalayaan International School (CKIS) will stage a musical entitled . The story details the plight of the Yanomamo, an indigenous tribe of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil, depicting their struggle against modernization and industrialization.
As part of its mission to teach its students to be global citizens, Casa Kalayaan International School celebrates its 10th anniversary in the Subic Bay Freeport community by pledging to donate one hundred percent (100%) of proceeds from Yanomamo ticket sales to provide the Aetas of Pastolan with access to clean, potable water.
